Hi,
i don't have the same structure and i must do some operation when import the
data, then a standard Datapump utility don't solve my problem.
But why the insert/post on Firebird are so slow?
Regards,
Enrico Raviglione.

There is IBDatapump out there, which does most stuff automated.
As long as you create a table-structure identically in your IB-DB and
the old Paradox db, IB Datapump can even map all tables and fields
automatically.
You can find it on http://www.clevercomponents.com
Its pretty fast, and as it is automated, your 200MB tables can be pumped
over night in one batch run.
