I downloaded VT 2.2 (the only one on Yahoo Groups) and I still have the
same problem.

I tried it out just with VTree - VirtualStringTree1.Header.Columns[i].tag;
and the tag property does not exist in columns in ver 2.2.

What version did you use for your development and where can I get it?
