yes....I'm redesigning the network right now, putting some SMC
switches, more expensive and hopefully better NICs, and better shielded cables, hoping for the best :)

Of course....I've installed the database server on a linux machine and
it runs ok. I'll try a RAID 0 solution to see if I can improve
performance.
