Yes, it is not an IBO bug.
The problem also exists in IBConsole, if you try to edit the
databaseproperties.
As far as I found out, there are two ways to solve the problem.
1st change the databaseproperty forced writes to disabled
2nd return to the firebirdversion before RC1

I did the 2nd and have no more problems.

I don't think, that you have to do this, as it is a bug in firebird
RC1. Let's hope, that it will be solved there soon.
