I've seem problems with this metatada conversion scripts was when the
DB (which defaut charset is iso8859_1) had some objects created with
character set NONE (some people connected to the db without difinig
the "connection" charset and updated the metadata)

With Fb/1.5 (and earlier) I tried to use ISO8859_1. Always. However,
someone(!) probably used NONE somewhere. I'm not criticizing your
scripts - I just wanted to (have to!) find another method of fixing
the metadata. Or do it "by hand".
My program (which tries to update the Fb/2.1 metadata) connects with
ISO8859_1. I'm puzzled by the fact that it can fix "everything"
except rdb$triggers. Why is this one different?
