Hi
We just installed a new server here.
Shortly its has this hardware:
OS: Debian 4.0 R4 64bit

FSC Primergy RX300 S4 Xeon Quad core 2.5Ghz 2x6Mb cache
12Gb ECC memory
4 x 1Gbic netkort
RAID10 storage with 12 harddrives (15k)
Its main purpose is to run a Firebird SS 2.1 64 bit.
It will run 2 DBs.
1 is 2 Mb ;-)
The other is some 15+ Gb.
It will have some 150 - 250 connections all time.
Sometimes even more.
They will do 60% insert/updates and 40% reads.
Should I change anything in the conf. file away from standard ?
Michael
