fb 1.5.4 on fedora core 5

I call isc_dsql_execute_immediate from a C program, passing correct
(AFAIK) parameters and a string like "execute procedure SP1".

I sometimes get "error 335544726 Error reading data from the connection"

but restarting the program it goes through the same code with no problem

any ideas?
