Hi
On one site we are getting regular abnormal terminations - as reported
in the Firebird.log.
Environment
Win XP SP2
Firebird V1.5.3.4870 - Superserver - Running as a Service
Clients - Services and Applications - written using BCB6 and IBO 4.7
No Firewall, No Virus scanner.

As is usual with these types of problems, other sites with similar
hardware and software do not have the same problem.

Typical Log entry for this problem
There may be an abnormally large number of the 10054 errors before the
termination, but not in every case.
The cause of these 10054 errors is most likely on of our applications or
services not handling a previous termination correctly and is currently
being investigated. Any other suggestions re this error would be welcomed.
Error Cycle times are 4-5 days.

Looking through the archives for similar problems reveals network
scanning/updates or virus checking software - both of which have been
ruled out in this case.
