Don't forget to review Jim Starkey's notes on the changes from the
current Firebird architecture in the Vulcan rewrite. Those notes throw
a lot of light on the limits of Firebird's current architecture and the
pending improvements.
I would love to be involved in setting up some formal test cases, but my
work schedule has me limited right now.
