Brian,
I suggest you look at Communicare (www.medisys.com.au).
It is a patient and patient care management system.
I assist with an installation that has around 50 users and I know it
has thousands of patients with many thousands of patient contacts a year.

It is quite stable. It runs on a white box with no problems at all.
