I have FireBird 1.5 on Win XP Pro.
I'm using IBExpert (and Delphi 7 for development) I can't set a
local connection. If I set server = local (in IBExpert for example)
i get next error message:
Connecting... Failed!
------------------------------------
Unsuccessful execution caused by an unavailable resource.
unavailable database.

Attempting to connect to services manager... Failed!
------------------------------------

Unsuccessful execution caused by an unavailable resource.
Cannot attach to services manager.

Disconnecting from database... Passed!

But I can connect in remote mode. I put server reomte, server name
and TCP/IP protocol and all work fine!!!

Any ideas? I like use local connection.
