No I can connect and I can even run the gbak successfully. I just can't
run the gbak with the -SE option. I just noticed also that the path to
the database is not the absolute path on the database server. K is
mapped to like c:\apps or something. Yet I remember trying to use
c:\apps not working, which now that I think about it doesn't make sense.

(Works)
"c:\program files\firebird\firebird_1_5\gbak.exe" -B
"k:\mypath\database.fdb" "k:\mypath\database.fbk" -user sysdba -pass
blah

(Does not Work)
"c:\program files\firebird\firebird_1_5\gbak.exe" -B -SE
servername:service_mgr "k:\mypath\database.fdb" "k:\mypath\database.fbk"
-user sysdba -pass blah
