Yeah, but I couldn't reproduce that. Admittedly I only did a very simple
test - a select from a table with 100k rows. But the performance results
were similar across Win2k, NT4, Win2K3 and XP. All O/S were VMWare
sessions on the same hardware with the same memory allocated.

I'm not saying you're wrong, or that you didn't see an improvement but I'd
like to nail this one down with a concrete, reproducible test case.
