The brazilian linux magazine "A revista do linux"
www.revistadolinux.com.br has published an article about firebird in
three pages. The article explains how firebird came to live, the
editions of firebird (SS, CS), the availability of drivers in
different languages, and finish with a table comparing FireBird,
MySql 3.x, PostgreSQL.

The author is Fernando Lozano (fernando@...). I've
contacted him and he can translate the article to english if you
(firebirdsql.org, ibphoenix, etc ) wisth to publish the article .

He contacted the magazine to get permition to make this and they
answered that the only requirement is to state 'Article originally
published in "Revista do Linux", edition 40, April 2003.

The magazine guy asked me if I knew that Phoenix browser of
Mozilla had changed the name to Firebird, and If this name change
wouldn't cause confusion.
