Hi,
while no user is logged into W2K, so you have to create a system
variable INTERBASE with the value c:\fb15, using Properties of My
Computer.
I used the beta2 that is downloadable from ibphoenix, followed your
description, but created a system variable and could create a new
table in a new database. BTW before you use CREATE DATABASE you need
to make sure that the path exists where the db file is supposed to be
created.
