I'll answer my own question in case someone later
needs this in the archives.

You can't do a fresh install of the v1.5 beta 1 dated
January 29th or so, at least not easily. It should
only be used to upgrade a previous version. So, first
install FB v1.0.2, then install the v1.5 beta 1. I
suspect this probelm will be fixed in later releases.
