I'm new with Firebird and Linux.


i have install Firebird on a Suse 8.1 System.

rpm -ihv FirebirdSS-1.5.0.4027-RC7.i686.rpm

it works and then i see that:

In file /etc/services found line:
gds_db 3050/tcp # gds_db
gds_db 3050/udp # gds_db
Which differs from the expected line:
gds_db 3050/tcp # InterBase Database Remote Protocol

Updated /etc/services.
