I've just installed the firebird interbase server and the interserver client. I'm trying to
connect using the Java interclient. I was careful to install each piece and restart my
Windows 2000 machine after each one.

When I try to connect to my database using the "CommDiag.html" that comes with
interclient, I'm getting the following error:

Testing database URL jdbc:interbase://localhost/d:/programs/lazerweb/lazerweb.gdb.

***** Error or Exception Occurred *****
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission
accessClassInPackage.sun.io)
***** Installation problem detected! *****

I have no idea what I did wrong in the installation. Has anyone run into this before?
I have JDK1.4.0 installed on my machine. Any help is appreciated.
