Server:
SuSE 7.2
Latest Firebird version

Client:
WinXP and NT4

I have a small DB with events in it. The DB and the application is
working fine for a few weeks.
I changed something in the Apache
configuration of the server.
Now, if the application tries to register the
events I get the error message:

Failed to establish a secondary connection for event processing.

The IB-Server hangs now. I can't acces the server a second time,
doesn't matter from which application.

If I kill the last IB-Thread on the Server the IB-Server works again.

Everything else works fine. I tried to backup and restore the DB. No
problem but no changes. I tried to restore the backup on another
server.
There the events are working fine.

I reinstalled the Firebird-Server but that doesn't change anything.
I tried the 6.01 IB version on the Linux server. It still doesn't
work.

What can I do?

Please take a look at the posts 8250, 10008, 13179. They had the same
problems but I don't find a resolution for the problem.
