Subject RE: [ib-support] FB-Server Crashes on Event-Registration
Author Thomas Steinmaurer
Hi Andre,

there was a similar discussion in a German newsgroup with SuSE 8.0
and Firebird v1.0 Final SS (the same with IB 6.0.1.6 OS SS). No
firewall in use. There is no comprehensible solution for this
guys problem so far.

At this time I did some testing using IBO DML Caching (which uses
events) with SuSE 7.1 and Firebird v1.0 SS Final too. I had no
problem. The installation of Firebird v1.0 Final was done as
described in the Firebird v1.0 Release Notes without any special
settings for my Linux installation (I'm far away to be a Linux
expert ;-)).
