Hello
A query using IBX IBSQL component, takes 20 seconds to prepare over a RAS connection. The same query takes 0 seconds over a LAN.
Fetching the result set using both RAS and a LAN connection gives good response accounting for the different bandwidths.
Can the initial prepare be speeded up on the RAS connection?
Would using a stored procedure help?
Regards
