Greetings Lester,
[Lester]
The only way we have found to get IDENTICAL W98SE machines
to reliably make fast connections is to use small identical
HOSTS tables in each of them, and use UPPERCASE machine
names. This even applies when accessing a Linux server, and
is pure Bill Gates crap <G> - nothing anybody other then
MICROSOFT can fix.
[Mike]
Can you send me an example of how to setup a host file and where it should
reside?
Thanks
Mike
