The solution was to change the entry in inetd.conf file as follows :
gds_db stream tcp nowait root
/appli1/own/usr/interbase/bin/gds_inet_server gds_inet_server -h
/appli1/own/usr/interbase
as explained in the document ibp_50_env_var.html
However, a problem subsist :
There are also 2 other links for gds.a and gdsshr.a from
/appli1/own/usr/interbase/lib to the usr/lib folder. I don't know if
there is a mean to avoid making these links and oblige the server to
check directly in /appli1/own/.../lib, for the same reasons I
mentionned yesterday?
