ezSQL looks so cool. yes, i definitely
need/like an abstraction layer.

I use keyfocus to run php because its ease of use appeals
to me. i will look at apache if i cant figure out how to
get keyfocus working. you are right i install php as a cgi
on keyfocus and NOT a dll.

my outlook for this project really improved with this great info.

i have delphi personal with
ibobjects to create a gui if needed so i will skip python i
guess.

i always look for the simple approach to a design.
i could never write an abstraction layer like milan did.
