I have been having the problem on and off for a while now, but in the past it was something occurring once, and then a it worked for
a while, but now it seems to be a daily occurrence.

You are not the only person having issues, seems there is a "problem" in France with Orange.
Both the tracker and the Firebird web site vanished completely for me a few days ago, and
are still "officially" missing. I guess I am going to have to change my default DNS server
for something else.
