Are there problems with the firebirdsql.org nameservers? For a while now
I have intermittent problems accessing various *.firebirdsql.org sites
due to nameservers not resolving the hostnames.
After a few reload attempts or trying at a different time the address
will eventually be resolved and the site loads normally. From my home I
have the problem intermittently, while on work (totally different
provider) I am usually unable to access any firebirdsql.org address.
When I use nslookup to resolve the name than I get more timeouts then a
correct result, when I use set norecurse I do get a response (of
course), but sometimes I get the IP address and sometimes the error "BAD
ERROR VALUE"
I think this is something that needs to be looked at, because if I were
a first time visitor interested in a database system like Firebird, that
would be a put off.
PS. If this is the wrong forum, let me know.
