I fully agree it is time this entire discussion moved to a more appropriate
location. It is clear things are in the detail oriented stage and this isn't
the place for details. It's a hub and seeding ground.
This list is totally saturated by these issues and it is time the details
were ironed out elsewhere. Because Pavel has been with Firebird so long and
has *done* quite a bit already I would like all those interested in
continuing this discussion to move to the list he has created for doing so.
This is where this discussion will be moving to:
http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/firebird-website
If this continues we are going to spoil the atmosphere and balance of this
list and start losing members such that is all this is going to be is a list
for discussing Firebird web-site issues. Frankly, I could hardly care less
about it myself. I'm happy with what we have so far. We just need somewhere
to go to participate in development, get information and builds. I'm glad
many of you do care about the web-site and I appreciate your efforts.
If anyone here insists on making the IBDI list a "captive audience" I will
go against my best wishes and start selectively moderating their posts. If
you disagree with this then discuss this with me privately, not here.
