Wanabe website... I hope you'll join the efforts to make this wanabe
website a success!

I understand, IBDI is probably not the apropriate place for
discussion about Firebird internals. On the other hand I think
there's a need for a public place for the discussion of things inside
Firebird.

The discussion about the website may be specific and intense, but
still it's something of interest for many IBDI members, even if I can
well understand that probably not for all. The website is an
important part of how Firebird presents itself. This is not simply a
webmaster issue, to be discussed in a webmaster list. It's of
interest for all those who strive for a strong independent Firebird
project and community.

Since it's ok to simply announce the existence of new lists, I will
also announce one:

There is a new "Firebird" list on Yahoo! groups. It's for public
discussion about Firebird internals. But everyone is welcome. It's an
open list for discussion about Firebird only. To subscribe, send an
email to firebird-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
