The place to discuss Firebird internals is IB-Architect@yahoogroups.com

That's where all the heavy hitters are and I see no need for another list.
Aren't there development lists already created for Firebird-only development
issues?

If you are just chatting about internal architectural issues in general it
is fully appropriate to be in an area where Firebird or InterBase are open
game. Don't matter where you go, the two are going to be compared and
contrasted for quite some time.
