Hi Ann,
just to mention one point to take care of when looking into this
subject: I think it's important for the freedom of the Firebird
community that it be able to have a commercial activity.

Even if the start of such activity is neither imminent nor planned
for the near future, I think it would be wise to constitute the
Firebird organization in a form which would allow such activity if
ever it should become desirable.

I know that some countries don't allow Associations to have
commercial activities. A point to verify...
