My sister incorporated an not-for-profit
organization in the US. I think it cost her
$70 plus taking her lawyer out for dinner.
Some might say that's a high price, but he
is a nice lawyer.

We're not a charitable or educational organization -
required if we are to accept tax-exempt donations -
but setting up as a general non-profit isn't very
hard.
