How about a public mailing list IB-Commits where anyone in the world can
post notice of commits? That way, if Inprise chooses to go its own way
with a separate tree, they can keep the rest of the world informed of their
changes; and it is where they can keep up with changes committed by the
Open Source community.

I'll create the list and announce it on the IBDI web site. If it doesn't
"go" or we get a better way, it can be closed down.

The state of things is a bit untidy right now but it looks as if exposure
of the full IB 6 build tree is close. More news as it comes to hand....
