On my computer, I have my app working fine on a MS W7 OS. The connection protocol is cpLocal. Server is "localhost".
Another programmer just upgraded from XP to Win7 and he could not get a connection. Not knowing what the problem was, we changed the protocal from cpLocal to cpTCP_IP and it worked fine.
What would cause this? Anything I should look at?
Also--I have to re-joing this group about once every month or two. Is there something that is causing that?
