Hello together,
we have the first time the problem to use a non western european language in a programm, it's czech.
Until today, we use the ISO-8859_1 character set.
Some characters with carons like Č could not be stored.
The first test was to use a UTF8 Database, with IB Expert it works,
the signs could be stored. But in IBO (we use 4.9.11 with Delphi 2010), if i set the CharSet to UTF8 with this database, the carons are not visible.
I tried some other CharSets, but nothing works.
Do i need a newer version of ibos?
Has someone expierience with czech characters?
Best regards
