I'am in same boat.
You can test FPC/Lazarus in windows enviroment, if runs fine then invite
people (me include) to test in linux enviroment.
I test FPC/Lazarus in windows enviroment and very stable, but on Ubuntu
Linux some errors message that I dont know where come from.
