I did the original port of 4.9.2 to lazarus/FPC.
since then version 0.9.29 of lazarus has been able to handle .dfm files. ( text version ).
It would be a much simpler task now to convert IBO to be lazarus friendly.
I don't know if my code got into the later version of IBO or not.
