There was a port of the non-visual components of IBO in FPC.
I presume they should install into Lazarus but I never confirmed it myself.
I would be highly interested in what your findings are.
I tried to get it working on Fedora 12 but couldn't get it to work.
Seemed to me there is a problem with Lazarus and FPC 2.4.
This was some time ago. Perhaps Lazarus now works with the latest of FPC.
