Hi,
I tried it. In both WindowsXP and Delphi7 US editions.
There were no problem.
Firebird environments:
- Firebird V2.1(Beta 2)
- Database defaut charcter set is UTF-8
- Client connection is NONE(in IBO V4.8.7)
(Sorry, I'm testing V2.1 only...)
Windows settings(In control panel):
->|Regional and language options|
->|Language| -> [Details]
->Text services and Input Languages
Default input language :
- Japanese - japanese
Delphi's controls font properties:
Charset:
- SHIFTJIS_CHARSET
(DEFAULT_CHARSET is not support for all ranges)
Name:
- MS UI Gothic
- MS Gothic/PGothic
- MS Mincho/PMincho
Other japanese fonts...
Regards,
Minoru
