I am struggling to figure out how to include a simple point and click
GUI backup and restore for Firebird within a commercial product that
will include either an embedded or local Firebird database.
IBO does not appear to have appropriate components and the components
supplied with Delphi are not guaranteed to be compatible with Firebird
going forward.
Any suggestions?

Oh, one other thing, is there any preference between an embedded and a
local install of Firebird?
