Hi All,
I wrote a small tool to extract the metadata from a database and noticed
that it causes FirebirdServer to consistently terminate. I tried this on a
remote database to the same effect. This resulted in us having to go into
windows services and start the FirebirdServer service again.
The simple app consists of only a TIB_Connection and a TIB_Metadata to
extract the metadata. I tried this on a third machine (over the network) and
it successfully extracted the metadata (about 1.7Mb).
For the machines it crashes on it extracts about 350-750Kb of the metadata.
Firebird Version: WI-V6.3.2.4731 Firebird 1.5
IBO Version: 4.5Ai
Borland C++ Builder 6
Any ideas on what's going on here?
Cheers,
Ryan Thomas
