I endorse this statement and recommend that you create a web-based solution
using IBO in an ISAPI application.

The wire protocol for Firebird is far more "chatty" than the wire protocol
of a web browser and that makes using it directly over a DSL line very
sluggish.

Your hard work would be better spent on a good web solution.
