Subject RE: [IBO] IBO book

For the moment I use BDE but we are intending to switch to Interbase. I
already have version 7.1

Since the converstion is not done yet can anyone tell me or show me a link
where I can find the advantages and disadvantages of both Interbase and
Firebird

Hi Vahan,

The reference books on InterBase (v. 6.0) are here (zipped PDFs):

http://www.ibphoenix.com/downloads/60All.zip

BTW, which InterBase version do you use or plan to use? If it's 6.0,
I'd strongly consider upgrading to Firebird!

For IBO, I would suggest:

- The Getting Started Guide (not free, but cheap. Preview at
http://www.ibobjects.com/ibo_gsg.html)

- The IBO Help files

- This mailing list! :-)

- The online FAQ: http://faq.ibobjects.com/scripts/ibofaq.dll

- Techinfo sheets: http://www.ibobjects.com/TechInfo.html

- Various documentation links:

Sorry, I don't know of "a" single IBO Reference.

Greetings,
