Hi all.
I use ibo 3.6x to connect to a firebird 1.02SS database running on a
Redhat 7.2 server (P4/256 MB RAM) with 25 users connected via win98
workstations.
Sometimes during peak hours, the firebird server hangs. I see that
the server is still working. All one needs to do is to reboot the
server and things become normal.
I have put fetchrows to false to improve on the performance. The
problem is still there.
The application has over 220 tables and I have disabled sweep and
run set statistics during maintenance hours. The problem still
persists.
Is version 3.6xx fully compatible with fib 1.x ?
Can anyone suggest any solutions to isolate this problem ?
Kind regards
Duleep
