Are we talking dbExpress here ?
'Cause if so, the answer would be: None. The IB drivers DON'T
support Firebird. Yes, they work - (Fb 1.0), but they don't "support" it.

... yes, I`ve had dbExpress in mind. I assume Borland does not support
Firebird. I just wanted to know whether interbase driver works with Firebird,
that is if I can use it to develop client software that will communicate with
server running Linux/Firebird.

Well, yes - you basically can. But with other version of Firebird (1.5 for
example) this becomes increasingly harder. You might want to try out the
dbExpress driver I wrote - it isn't free, but not exactly expensive either.
