Yes I completely uninstalled old FB 1.5 RC4 first, then Installed RC7
without re-booting, installed my own app from scratch.

Do you have anything you'd like me to try and run for you on my win98 box ?

So you've actually got FB itself installed on Win98? I'm wondering
if I'm missing 1 or more files? Again, in WinXP (no FB files
installed), all I need is my .EXE and GDS32.DLL (renamed
FBCLIENT.DLL) and it works fine. Hmmm...
