Ok Peter

Anything I can help with let me know, my win98 box is effectively a clean 98SE install for testing with , it's actually the second boot option on my Linux machine.
The only other thing with my application was that I deliberately used Delphi 5 as my customers wanted to run win98 upwards and I didn't want to take compatibility risks.

Have you tried installing your db on your win 98 machine and going in with IBO_Console or similar ?
