On one hand - I agree, but up until now I have been able to
move data to a later version and still run the old code
until the new version is up nad running.

It looks as if the 'fix' here is not to run FB1.5 as port
3050, but install it in parallel with FB1, so that - any
problems - the old system still runs ;)
