Pelle and Huw, thanks for the tips. I see, that adding an entry to the HOSTS file is not much practical, better to enter an IP to the path when a DNS name wouldn't work. And if we would use DHCP server, modyfying the HOSTS file would even be a bad choice, unless it can be updated automatically by the system somehow...
