We will be forced to use .Net, unless you plan to migrate everything
to Linux (what is not a real option for 100% of the cases right now).
Look at what Borland says in his Open Letter to the Delphi community.
Probably there will be no more implementations of Win32 Delphi. In
other words, one more time MS is forcing every windows developer to
walk with him. One last hope is the MONO project to be sucessful, so
at last .Net programs will run both on linux and windows, but
sincerely, I doubt they will get 100% compatibility with MS.Net.
