Jack,

I've tried exactly the way as Helen and I've loaded some
bitmaps via InterBase Workbench into the BLOB column.

I can view all bitmaps via my little test app, so it
works as expected.

Are you sure, that you have loaded bitmaps via IBW?
What version of IBW are you using and how have you
loaded the bitmaps within IBW? By using the BLOB
Editor?
